Providing your notice of terminating your employment with Douglas PUD in writing to your supervisor will initiate all of the tasks necessary for a smooth offboarding.
final pay
Your final paycheck will be deposited into your bank account on the payday following your last day.
We will mail the final pay stub to your mailing address we have on file.
Unused personal leave will be cashed out on your final paycheck.

Your account will remain accessible to you for reimbursement of qualified medical expenses not covered by your health plan.

You may choose to roll your balance into another qualified plan, withdraw some or all of your funds (subject to applicable taxes), or you may keep your funds in your current Nationwide account. Remember to begin taking RMDs when you reach age 75 (sooner if you were born prior to 1960).

Accounts with balances less than $1,000 will automatically be distributed to the participant upon separation, subject to applicable taxes.

You and your dependents remain covered at your current coverage levels through the end of the month in which you separate.
You will receive COBRA enrollment information in the mail. COBRA generally allows you to continue coverage for up to 18 months after separation. You will have up to sixty days to make an election.

Please return any keys, fuel cards, or equipment to your supervisor on your last day at the District.

If you participate in the FSA, you have 90 days after your separation date to turn any claims incurred while employed.
